Managing my Money event day

✨Friday 21st June is the day!

Looking forward to sharing all the feedback from the Pro-Active Community event hosted with Surrey People’s Group and Include.org

The opportunity to bring together so many money management specialists to help with awareness and to signpost anyone needing additional support has taken a great deal of pulling together, proving how much can be acheived when charities partner up.

Huge thanks must especially go to Amanda Aldridge Alix Lewer Nick Kinsella and Narmadha K. for all they have done to bring this event to today.

Looking forward to hearing from Citizens Advice and Community Money Advice, Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development Surrey Coalition of Disabled People and Loveworks amongst others, on ideas, guidance or reminders there are ways to keep on top of money and budgeting.

Advocacy and the Mental Capacity Act will also be in the spotlight today, everyone needs to be reminded of the legal aspects when it comes to managing our own money.

What a treat to showcase the first public viewing of the fantastic ‘Managing my Money’ film!!! Thank you so much to Rebecca Lordan and Joel Hartfield at Active Prospects, for making this possible for Pro-Active Community members to bring their expertise and unique delivery to this very important topic, through the brilliant direction of Pinkie Films.
