Quality Checking Resumes

Leanne Yeo, Pro-Active Community committee member, has been working to update the quality checker guidance and training for Active Prospects. Leanne has included sections on safeguarding as part of the training presentation and she has also looked at questions around COVID-19 safety in the services.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, quality checking was put on hold due to restrictions during the lockdown. However, as more staff and people we support get their vaccines, quality checking by the Pro-Active Community will resume. This is important as Quality Checkers have direct experience of using services, making them best placed to observe how each service is running and feedback to Active Prospects any good practice and highlight areas for improvement. Leanne will be begin coming out to services within the next month.
