Session 6 - off to Greece!!

Off to Greece tonight with session 6, the penultimate adult learning disability supported cooking course at East Surrey College.

It’s been such a positive experience for support staff too, everyone completed their student evaluation forms sharing their thoughts

“I want the course to be longer”

“I’m more confident in the kitchen I know my way round it now”

“I can chop better now and I’m not so anxious”

“I’ve cooked lots of new things, meals have been easier than I thought”

“Can I stay all day and work here?”

Huge thanks to all the East Surrey College team involved in making this course a reality, and to now embark on creating a steering group to design future courses from September is beyond exciting.

Thank you especially to Rory and Kira for enabling the superb Nicola Hoad to design this with the first group of adult learners from the Pro Active Community and Active Prospects UK.
