A Community joining together is vital

Leanne Yeo, Pro-Active Community member of many years, joined (VASWS) Voluntary Action South West conference at University of Surrey, with the theme of' ‘Community’ being such an important part of all charities and voluntary sector organisations.

Listening to representatives from across Surrey talking about common challenges we are all currently facing, hi-lighting the need to collaborate more as strength together is going to be more effective in responding to bids and tenders.

Providing a full solution is often made more likely by collaborting or partnering in applications, something proved clearly in the Fuel for Poverty Accessible cooking programme starting later this month.

Great as always to see other Pro Active Community partners there from other organisations or charities, Surrey Coalition and Heartlands Nina Austin and Yasmin Broome
