A packed room in Guildford for the Surrey People’s Group West, a morning with the focus on Employment.

Great to hear from EDGE, sharing their ‘getting ready for work’ programme based in West Surrey.

Phil Mack and Eric Tomalin from Surrey Choices talked about the Workwise Project and what they offer to support people into employment.

Participants created their visual ‘CV shields’ reflecting on what they are good at, what their friends say they are like and their hobbies. A fantastic easy read format all employers can consider in their recruitment tool kits.

🧡Katie Christmas delivered an engaging presentation reminding all those at today’s meeting, West Surrey need trainers with lived experience to join the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Programme.
